Here is a collection of my favorite Abraham Lincoln Quotes on inspiration. The best of the lot being, “Whatever you are, be a good one.

“Don’t worry when you are not recognized, but strive to be worthy of recognition. ”

“Leave nothing for tomorrow which can be done today.”

“I will prepare and some day my chance will come.”

“If you are resolutely determined to make a lawyer of yourself, the thing is more than half done already.”

“Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing. ”

It is often the common folks who feels most miserable, and needs the most motivation because they feel they aren’t special. Abraham Lincoln had to say this about the Common People.
“Common looking people are the best in the world: that is the reason the Lord makes so many of them.”

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”

“Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing.”

“And in the end it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years. “

Albert Camus ( 1913 - 1960) was a French author and philosopher who won the Nobel prize in 1957. He is often associated with existentialism, but Camus refused this label. On the other hand, as he wrote in his essay The Rebel, his whole life was devoted to opposing the philosophy of nihilism. On the subject of his belief or not in God, he writes in the third volume of his notebooks one of his famous, irrational paradoxes: “I do not believe in God and I am not an atheist”. 1) “When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him; and you are torn by the thought of the unhappiness and night you cast, by the mere fact of living, in the hearts you encounter.”

2) “Charm is a way of getting the answer yes without asking a clear question.”

3) “There is no fate that cannot be surmounted by scorn.”

4) “But in the end one needs more courage to live than to kill himself.”

5) “It is natural to give a clear view of the world after accepting the idea that it must be clear.”

I have also filed this page under Motivational Speaker category. You see you don’t have to talk to speak!!!
And I would end this page by quoting Helen again, “It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision. “
